Superzuber:Oh my gosh, all you ladies who have gained next to nothing or nothing are making me feel bad! That combined with the fact that I've just bust out of most of my pants in the last few days. I started out at 5'7" and 130 lbs, now I'm up to 135 lbs at 13 weeks. We're supposed to gain 25-35 lbs and I'm worried I'll go over because I'm so hungry all the time, wasn't that sick in T1, and all I crave is junk food. Vegetables make my stomach turn.
You sound exactly like me (except I'm 5'3" and muscular). I have gained 10 lbs at almost 19 weeks. I wasn't sick at all during the 1st trimester, but I have been absolutely repulsed by vegetables. I'm usually a very healthy eater, but my only cravings are carbs and sweets. If the vegetables have any butter or flavoring other than salt, I can't stomach them. I'm exercising 4-5 times per week, and trying to eat around 1500-2000 calories a day, which my regular diet is around 1200 per day. I'm gaining about a lb per week, which I think is just fine. I wasn't overweight or underweight when I got pregnant, but I was fit. I wouldn't worry or judge yourself against other people. I'm sure not.
