Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a great new year - I can certainly say I'm SO glad 2012 is over and I hope 2013 is the year for all of us.

I had my b/w and u/s yesterday morning and everything looked good so I started my first night of Lupron (20iu) and I'm continuing BCPs until the 6th. I've got my baseline b/w and u/s appointment scheduled for the morning of the 11th and I had BETTER be suppressed so I can start stims!! Still on schedule for ER the week of the 21st.

QOTD: Never been anyplace too exciting or crowded for NYE, you will NEVER find me in Times Square, I don't like the crowds. We were in Vail, CO one year for NYE and it was beautiful with the fireworks off the mountain in the snow, so that was probably the most exciting spot.

Natural PG 9/27/11; MC at 8wks. Used Cytotec to expel: 1/20/12 (unpleasant)
First RE visit: 8/8/12, Saline Sonogram: 8/28/12(4cm unknown mass in upper left of uterus) 2nd Saline Sonogram: 10/2/12 (mass disappeared!) IVF injection class: 10/11/12
IVF #1: 10/17/12 Baseline: FSH- 9.4, E2- 24, LH- 3.7, Progesterone- 0.3. 6 follicles in my right ovary & 9 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ in AM. 10/21/12: Add Ganirelix SQ in PM. 10/26/12: hCG Trigger IM. ER 10/28/12: 13R, 7M, 6F. 5 Made it to PGS. ET 11/2/12: CANCELED. PGS: All 5 have "severe abnormalities." Devastated. Begged RE for back-to-back IVFs; Started Provera 11/2/12. AF said FU and came anyway, destroying any chance for a Dec IVF. Maxed out lifetime IF meds insurance. I can barely breathe, waiting to get through this process, hoping for my take-home-baby.
IVF #2: 1/7/13 Baseline: FSH- 8.8, 4 follicles in my right ovary & 6 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ in PM. 1/11/13: Add Ganirelix SQ in AM. 1/16/13: hCG Trigger IM. ER 1/18/13: 9R, 5M, 5F. 2 Made it to PGS. ET 1/23/13: CANCELED. PGS: All embryos have "multiple severe abnormalities." RE recommends we stop trying and focus on living childless, due to the repeated extremely poor quality of my eggs. I don't even know what to do with that.
IVF #3- NEW RE! 100% OOP: 3/1/13 Baseline: FSH- 9.6, E2- 61, Progesterone- 0.94, 3 follicles in my right ovary & 4 in my left. Day 3: one 8 cell, grade 0. 3/16/13 Five day ET: one early blast, grade Fair. 3/24/13 Started period a day before beta. BFN.
IVF #4 (FINAL) (Added acupuncture to this cycle.): 3/25/13 WTF & Baseline: FSH-11.8, E2- 56, Progesterone- 0.84 3/26/13 Start stims. 3/30/13 u/s: 5 follicles in my right ovary & 4 in my left. Rx: 225 Bravelle & 225 Menopur SQ in PM. 3/31/13 Add Ganirelix SQ in AM. hCG Trigger 4/3/13 SQ. 4/5/13 ER: 5R, 3M, 3F naturally. Day 3: two 8 cell, grade 0, one 8 cell, grade 2 (Scale 0-best to 3-worst). 4/10/13 Five day ET: two blastocysts (the 3rd stopped growing.) 4/18/13 Beta: 2.5 BFFN.
No DE or adoption for us, FIRM.
That’s it for us. I am beyond devastated and have no idea how to proceed from here. My life has been forever altered by this experience. Best wishes to all in their journeys!

I trigger tonight!!! Woohoo!!!! E2 was over 2100 today and they are a little worried about OHSS so I stocked up on Gatorade today. ER is scheduled for 6am on Thursday.
QOTD: I have only ever been to house parties and bars for NYE, at some point in my life I think Time Square would be fun.

5 Failed IUI's Moving onto IVF, Stims Start 10/27, ER 11/5=27 eggs!, 23 mature, 1 Fertilized WTF?? Rescue ICSI on 12 and we had 3 more fertilize. Transfered 2 on 11/9. Beta on 11/23.

I guess I'll be first:-). I am on day 6 of stims right now and am looking at ER early next week I'm guessing.  Little disappointed that my follicles seem to be not cooperating as well as I was hoping with this new MD lupron flare protocol, but we will see. 

 

Qotd: I really haven't been anywhere fabulous for NYE. I always think we are going to plan something big, but we always end up at a friends house or something.

10/12 IVF #1: FSH 5.4, estradiol AFC: 14, long Lupron 150/bravelle75,5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast and 1 8 cell transferred. No frosties. BFN

Been stimming since Saturday, having some cramping. Going in for BW tomorrow morning hoping all goes well!

I've never gone anywhere exciting for NYE, but it is on my bucket list to go to NYC at least once for it!

Trying for a baby since 4/10
DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear. May/ 2013 Egg maturity and quality issues.. DH: low sperm motility,low count.
Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,
6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

Good luck to all my fellow Polar Bears! I am doing an estrogen priming protocol and just started Estrace, so I can officially be moved to stimming or priming! Feels good to say after having to take two cycles off.

I have been to downtown Boston for NYE several times, which is a lot of fun. But my ideal NYE these days is dinner and staying in. I feel old!

I triggered last night and ER is tomorrow morning!  I am feeling very "full" and uncomfortable today.

 QOTD: I did NYE with my family in Vegas once.  All of the hotels on the Strip do fireworks from their rooftops at midnight.  It was awesome.

I triggered last night and ER is tomorrow morning!  I am feeling very "full" and uncomfortable today.

 QOTD: I did NYE with my family in Vegas once.  All of the hotels on the Strip do fireworks from their rooftops at midnight.  It was awesome.

Update:  Last day of BCPs is tomorrow!  I started the Lupron injections on Thursday (12/27) and they're getting easier.  DH does them for me, but I've started looking at it while he's doing it so that eventually I can do it myself (he'll be starting night class in a couple weeks, so I'm gonna have to take over....scary!).  I have my first suppression check this coming Monday. 

QOTD:  Nope.  I'd never wanna be in Times Square on NYE!

Last birth control pill tomorrow and then I wait for AF so I can call make sure I'm suppressed. Lupron for probably another week then hormone replacement for 21 days. FET is easy peasy compared to anything I've been through IF related. I've been very lucky haven't experienced and Lupron side effects. Knock on wood!!

QOTD I'm not fond of Time Square crowds so that doesn't appeal to me. Seems we're either at a wedding, ski lodge or a friends house party for NYE most years. Honestly, I'd be happy to just go away just the two of us and hide out in a mountain house next year....or with baby in tow.

Still on BCP's... Spent New Year at Disneyland once. It was a lot of fun. Very crowded, but the fireworks were amazing and the atmosphere during the holidays was worth experiencing at least once.

I trigger tonight!!! Woohoo!!!! E2 was over 2100 today and they are a little worried about OHSS so I stocked up on Gatorade today. ER is scheduled for 6am on Thursday. QOTD: I have only ever been to house parties and bars for NYE, at some point in my life I think Time Square would be fun.

Took my last BCP on Sunday. I have my baseline u/s tomorrow and will start micro-lupron on Thursday. 

QOTD: I used to go to Phish concerts every NYE when I lived in NY. After moving to CA, DH and I have managed to be in a different city nearly every year. 
Me: 33, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, DOR (AMH .35), DH: 38, Borderline low morph
5/09- Off BCP, 5/09-9/09- No period, 9/09-9/10- Lots of Tests & accupuncture
10/10 and 11/10- 2 rounds of Menopur + TI= BFNS
12/10-IUI #1 Menopur = BFN
1/11- IUI #2 Menopur = BFP, 2/11 missed mc at 9 weeks, D&C
5/11- Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum

Hi ladies!
I had my saline sonogram yesterday. I started BCP on 12/24. We are hoping to start stims between 1/201/23!!

I've had 2 amazing NYE experiences. I went to Time Square in 2000 and had VIP seats in a heated tent with food and open bar! It was F'ing amazing!!! And then in 2010 and 2011 I spent NYE in Las Vegas at the Palms!!!!
This year I was home and asleep by 1130! Oh how the times have changed! Haha!

I guess I'll be first:-). I am on day 6 of stims right now and am looking at ER early next week I'm guessing.  Little disappointed that my follicles seem to be not cooperating as well as I was hoping with this new MD lupron flare protocol, but we will see. 

 

Qotd: I really haven't been anywhere fabulous for NYE. I always think we are going to plan something big, but we always end up at a friends house or something. 

FX that everything goes smoothly. I have learned from not having that many follies myself, it is the quality not the quantity. <3 Stay encouraged

Seriously I keep thinking of the tune "express yourself" in my head and I change it to "suppress yourself!" I'm such a dork. And I have absolutely everything crossed for you my dear.
