If you lost your mucus plug...

Did you go into labor at a certain time after? Do you believe there was a connection?

I think I'm losing mine, just curious.

Started losing it around 11AM, contractions started around 3PM then kept getting worse. Got to the hospital at 6AM the next day, I was 6cm dialated. Had my baby boy at 8:19PM :

I lost mine about 8 hours into my labor.. I went straight into transition after I lost it. It was crazy! My mom lost her mucus plug before she went into labor and hers started a few hours later.

 

I lost tiny pieces of mine a couple weeks leading up to labor. But lost about a quarter size amount of it when I was in labor.

I lost mine on a Wednesday night. My water broke Thursday night. LO arrived on Friday night! Each event happened right about 24 hours after the previous.

I started to lose mine two weeks before I delivered, then again on and off for the week prior to delivery. Once I had contractions though, then I had blood when I wiped.

I lost mine the day before my water broke. I had also had a cervical check at the Ob the day before that I lost it.

With DS I never lost it... or at least I never noticed. My water broke on its own and he was born 11 hours later. He was 7 days early. With DD, I started losing it on a Wednesday in really big clumps and continued to through Saturday. On Monday my water broke on its own and she was born 6 hours later. She was 5 days early.

I lost mine on a thurs at 8 am and contractions started about an hour later, but were sporadic and weak.  By 8 pm that night they were stronger and we went to the hospital at 3 am Fri morn, had her at 6:30pm .

For me I lost it between 9-10 pm. I woke up with contractions that night at 1 am. Was in labor and had him the following day,

I went into labor without losing my mucus plug. The mucus plug came out when I was stuck at 5cm. It only took an hour after that to be fully dilated with the boy on the way to the exit! My water didn't break until my son was coming out.

I lost mine a few weeks before my due date and ended up being induced at 40 weeks 3 days for low fluid so I never officially went into labor. Just FYI, it can regrow too.
