Choices..choices..

I was just wondering what everyone thought of the name Dahlia Carson Schulte. I'm super stuck on the name Dahlia and just love it...but am having trouble finding a middle name that fits just right. Carson seems to flow well to me and I like it but my friends seem to think otherwise...calling it things like "too boyish."

Any suggestions?

I LOVE Dahlia!!!! Dahlia Carson flows fine but I agree it's boyish. If you'relooking for something more feminine, how about:

Dahlia Carys
Dahlia Ruby
Dahlia Charisse
Dahlia Neve
Dahlia Blythe
Dahlia Nicole
Dahlia Vivian
Dahlia Elizabeth
Dahlia Madeleine

Dahlia is very pretty!

Carson is a male name and should not be used on a girl.

I like the name Dahlia. The flow of the name is okay but Carson is definitely maculine.

I like the previous suggestion of Dahlia Carys. Do you have a family member that you would like to honor? I think the MN spot is great for family names.

This.  Although opposite sex names in the MN spot don't bother me.  I'd still try to pick a girl one first.

I read your post then had to re-read it to see if this name was meant for a girl or a boy.  Dahlia is not my style because it makes me think of hutterites (kind of like the Amish but more modern).   And Carson definitely says Boy to me!

Agreed. Dahlia is lovely; I would assume Carson was a family surname. I would either use something meaningful or more feminine, personally.

I absolutely love Dahlia!!  Nice choice!

Not crazy about Carson, esp for a girl.  You can do better I think.  I would suggest a super feminine one syllable middle name

Dahlia Pearl

Dahlia June

Dahlia Wren

Dahlia Faye

Dahlia Brynn

Dahlia Lynn

Dahlia Rae

I like Dahlia, but don't really like Carson.  If it's a family name or something then I would use it.

I prefer gender-bending names to misspelled ones, and I think Dahlia Carson is just fine. You love it, it flows well, it's spelled correctly, and the "boyish" name is in the MN spot. Nothing wrong with that.

Like Dahlia, love what a PP said :Dahlia June... so pretty!

Carson is a boy name to me, not my style to mix the two genders in a name.
