Thoughts on this product?

DD is NOT a very good sleeper at night. Sometimes we put her in our bed, she doesnt fall asleep (neither do we when she's in there) but she stops crying and calms down. We saw this at BRU the other day but Im a little hesitant about it. Id still be nervous about our pillow or blankets being thrown over her or something. I dont know if Id get more or less sleep because I know I wouldnt get into a good sleep because Id constantly have to make sure that didnt happen. What do you think? Safe or no?

I have one, and honestly it's huge! It isn't really ideal for cosleeping unless you have a king size bed. I'd either just arrange your bed to be safe for cosleeping, get a sidecar crib or hold her until she passes out and then put her back in her bed.

I would get a Rock and Play.  My DD didn't sleep for the first 3 wks of her life until I bought one.  She slept amazingly in it until we transitioned to the crib at 5 months!

okay, so maybe I shouldn't post here (still have an inside baby)...

If you just take the front panel off the crib and secure it to your bed, you don't have to purchase an additional product and there will be an area for baby to sleep "in your bed."

Here's a blog post with info on this:

We got the Rock N' Play & our DD sleeps so much better in it. Of course we didn't pay the $80, I think I got it for $30 at a consignment store, just in case it didn't work.

My daughter also loves the RNP.  In the beginning we would put her in the bassinet at nite and she'd be ok and only napping in the RNP during the day.  DH was sick for 5 days and I had her in the living room with me at nite and she would sleep in the RNP.  Now she wants no part of the bassinet and will only sleep in the RNP.
