I'm 5 weeks today!!  And I'm still waiting for beta 2 on Friday.  I have been having a small amount of brown spotting over the last couple of days so I'm going to call my RE's office to let them know and see if they'll possibly move my beta up to tomorrow instead of Friday.  If it's Friday I'll have to wait until Monday for the results.  Ugh.  Other than that, I've had off and on cramping, my boobs have been sore since ER but they are starting to ease up a little bit (which of course scares the crap out of me).  I'm basically have PGAL-brain thinking that everything means the pregnancy isn't viable... trying to snap out of that!!

Can't wait to hear everyone else's updates!!

QOTW:  I didn't make any so I'll make one now - to carry and deliver a healthy baby or two ;)

Hi ladies!

Update:  I'm in my 6th week, and my first u/s is Friday.  The waiting is killing me! But, so far, my hormone checks have been really good (E2 was 3,300 on Monday, ugh!), and I definitely have symptoms, so I have no reason to doubt the u/s will be good.  M/S hit on Monday (right at 6 weeks!), and comes and goes in severity, but is around pretty much all day.  My other symptoms are pretty typical: tired, sore boobs, bloated, etc.

QOTW: I don't really make New Years resolutions.  I know 2013 is going to be a great year, so I'm just trying to relax and not worry too much!

TTC #1 7/10, Me (31)- Dx DOR (AMH 0.6); DH (30)- normal
BFP on Cycle #8. Natural M/C at ~8 weeks
IUI #1 and #2 (8/12, 9/12)- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFNs

Oh my!  A week off of the bump and there is so much good news!  Congrats to all of the BFPs!

My first beta was 27 and I'm currently waiting on the results of beta #2.  I had blood drawn last Friday while I was traveling, but I haven't heard from my RE's office.  I'm trying to remain positive, but I have absolutely no symptoms.  We'll see what happens.

My NY resolution -- to floss every day.  Thrilling, I know.

Wow, Im so happy for all the BFPs! Congrats, and hugs to my fellow BFNs.

Im calling to set up our WTF appt today.  We have officially hit our 2 year TTC mark.  I just needed some time after the BFN, but now it feels weird not to be doing anything.  My plan is to ask for further testing (check for clotting disorders, immune workup maybe genetics) because I can't really believe at this point that 2 IVFs would fail at the implantation level because of bad luck.  If everything comes back okay, then okay, but I just need to get the doubts out of my head & stop wasting ERs if there's something that we need to be doing additionally.  I do have the rest of the IVF weeks through June, so as of now, I'd like to cycle again first week of april & then first week of June if april is a bfn.  (our RE recommends a month off inbetween attempts and I have vacation time around the June week for our anniversary.)

QOTW:Resolutions

More healthy eating/attempt to lose weight/reduce my BMI before IVF#3

brush my teeth before bed & floss more often

Improve my spending habits and be more organized

try to have a better attitude(mine lately has been pretty negative)

Good morning ladies - I hope everyone is doing well during this short back to work week. I am glad to see so many BFPs and have those who are still waiting/got BFN in my T&P.

Update: I am still feeling a little shaky about my BFP. I had some bleeding last Thursday and was sent for a third beta, which came back at 839, so my doubling time slowed WAY down from 29 hours to 85 hours. I had a fourth beta on Monday, which came back at 1825, so still 85 hours to double, which might be okay since supposedly things slow down once you are over 1200. My last beta seems really low to me for where I was Monday (20dp5dt) but the RE doesn't seem concerned. My ultrasound is scheduled for 1/11, so we have basically a whole other 2WW to see a heartbeat.

QOTW: I would like to eat more nutritiously and DH and I want to work on putting a larger percentage of our income into savings.

Hi, ladies. Congrats to all those awesome BFPs and hugs to all my fellow cancelled/delayed cycles, BFNs and those who have had losses.

Update: We are going to start hunting around for another clinic/RE and I'm sure that will take some time.

QOTW: I didn't make any official New Year's resolutions but the DH and I are going to start eating healthy and working out more.

TTC #1 for about 3.5 years
ME: 37, PCO, immune issues?, teflon uterus (my added diagnosis)
HIM: 38, Perfect. (Showoff.)
Month before starting Clomid, spontaneous pregnancy. m/c at 7 weeks and D&C.
Four months of Clomid, one IUI, with Intralipid each cycle: BFNs all
IVF 1.0 July 2012 -- Lupron, bravelle, menopur, estrogen, progesterone supps, intralipid. 14 ER, 14 fertilized, 1 blast transferred, 2 on ice. BFN
FET 1.1 -- 10/2, transferred our 2 blasts. Lupron, PIO, estrogen, baby aspirin, prednisone. BFN.
IVF 2.0 December 2012 -- Bravelle, Menopur, Ganirelix, Prednisone, Metformin, estrogen, progesterone supps. 22 eggs retrieved on 12/14, 17 mature, 15 fertilized. OHSS anticipated so ET cancelled. 3 embryos frozen.
Broke up with old RE. Moving on to new dude. Maybe the change of scenery will be just the trick for our frosties. On BCPs for possible April FET.

I am officially 6w1d today and had my first ultrasound this morning. We have 2 heartbeats on board and for the very first time in the last month I took a deep breath and it felt great. We told my IL's at Christmas and drove (out-of-state) and told my immediate family this weekend. Everyone is beyond thrilled and over-the-moon excited. I'm thrilled too but IF brain is keeping me from relaxing to the point where I'm really enjoying this. I'll get there though...eventually, I hope.

Rooting for everyone!

QOTW: No resolutions. I never keep them.

**ticker warning**

Hi everyone! I'm 5 weeks, 3 days and feeling pretty good so far, just tired and occasional light nausea. The cramping has let up since the weekend and ive had no spotting, so I'm just going on faith that everything is progressing perfectly.  Since I'm traveling, I'm not sure what's a symptom and what's not. Needless to say, I'm counting the days until my u/s on the 17th.

QOTW: I didn't make a resolution, but I'd say definitely to be as healthy as possible during this pregnancy - I'm anxious to get back on the workout plan too!

Congrats to all out BFPs!!  Hugs to all those who need them!

Well, it's officially over. Beta went from 176 on Friday to 50 today. I can stop meds and I have to go back in for another beta and our WTF next week.
I guess the silver lining is that we decided to do the shared risk program so we have two FET and one fresh cycle paid for, except meds, and 6 frosties waiting for us, but it still stings.

I guess I will be sticking around here for a while now. Thanks for everything bunnies!!!

I guess I will be sticking around here for a while now. Thanks for everything bunnies!!!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that!

Juicy71:

I've had off and on cramping, my boobs have been sore since ER but they are starting to ease up a little bit (which of course scares the crap out of me).  I'm basically have PGAL-brain thinking that everything means the pregnancy isn't viable... trying to snap out of that!!

Did you stop prog recently? That could be the reason for the less-sore boobs. I've also read that the hormones will fluctuate and that symptoms like that might get worse/better on different days.

My first beta was 21, just got the second, 31.  Wish it was higher.  I am getting nervous.  I have been nauseous and throwing up for over a week :P  I threw up hours after the et but I thought it was just a side effect of the pio.  Hoping that my Friday beta is better!

My only New Year's Resolution is to try to keep this baby growing.

Hi Snow Bunnies,

Congrats to all the BFP and big huge hugs to those who need them!

I was bleeding a lot more over the weekend and passed something I've never quite seen before 2 days ago.  Bleeding has almost stopped since then.  My beta today was a 1.2 and I officially stopped meds yesterday.  They are starting their January cycle at my clinic next week, so my WTF isn't until the 21st.  So that means if we want to do a FET with our 2 frosties right away it won't be until March.  Lame.

QOTW:  Working on budgeting and losing weight for new years.  Typical.

Nope, still on progesterone - just switched from PIO and suppositories to Crinone.  BUT, the pain seems to be re-emerging.  In fact, I'm also way more tired today and feeling some nausea that I wasn't feeling when I wrote my original post.  I'm starting to feel slightly more confident now, and yet afraid to feel too confident.  *sigh*  Stupid IF brain!!

:::siggy warning:::

I spent NYE in the Emergency Room due to severe abdominal pain.  I paged my RE and he told me to go to the local hospital.  (RE is 2.5 hours away)  My RE told me to have the ER page his asap because he suspected ectopic.

The ER was the worst experience EVER.  I felt like no one would take me seriously.  Everyone looked at me like I had a third eye when I would try to explain that I had IVF so I knew I was pregnant and I KNEW I was 5w4d.  It was just awful.

My RE called me back about an hour after I checked in to the ER wanting to know why no one had paged him yet.  I told him they were running a urine hcg and another beta to confirm pregnancy.  He laughed and said, "I can tell them your beta will be very, very, VERY high."  (He is from Guatemala, so you have to imagine the accent.)  He told me he had been reviewing my case and thought the chance of ectopic was low, but he thought I might have late onset OHSS.  He told me to tell the ER to order an ultrasound of my upper abdomen and my pelvic area.  I was slightly amused that he thought anyone at this hopsital would listen to me.

I finally saw a doctor 4.5 hours after checking in.  I explained to the doctor that I was pregnant, but had not yet had an u/s confirming a uterine pregnancy.  I told him I was 5w4d.  He asked how I knew how far along I was if I hadn't had an u/s.  I said, "I had in vitro."  He replied, "In vitro.....fertilization?!?!"  Me - "Yes"  Dr - "So they put an egg back 5w4d ago?"  Me - IndifferentHmm "No.  I had my egg retrieval 5w4d ago.  That was the point at which my eggs were fertilized."  Then when he was examining my abdomen he asked if I knew which ovary they took the egg from.  :::major side eye:::

Thank goodness the ultrasound tech knew what she was doing!  I was dx by the ER doc with a normal uterine pregnancy.  Then told to take percocet for pain.  WTH?

I saw my RE today.  He confirmed his suspecisions and I do have mild OHSS.  Everything looks good with the pregnancy.  I have one yolk sac.  Too early for a heart beat, but I go back on the 14th.

Sorry this got so long...

Yay...Congrats to all of the BFP's!!! ((hugs)) to all the BFN-so sorry. I've been doing good. I don't think it has fully hit me that we actually are pregnant especially with twins. I still feel afraid to get to excited. Like Juicy I noticed that my breast stopped hurting. Two days ago they hurt so bad I could barely sleep-now today, nothing! I talked to my fertile myrtle sister who told me that it is totally normal and symptoms will come and go. Other than that feeling fine-just very sleepy.  I have my second ultrasound next monday.  They said that since my beta is so high all the rest of the monitoring will be done with weekly ultrasounds.  No more blood draws-which kind of makes me nervous too. Just woke up from a nap-and about to take another one! Wink

TTC naturally since Nov 2010. Diagnosed with PCOS in June of 2012 Started seeing a RE June 2012 HSG showed a block left tube Hubby's SA showed a slightly low count everything else ok Three rounds of Clomid/IUI-all three rounds IUI were cancelled because follicles never matured. Starting injections for IVF Dec. 1st. ****Ticker warning****

Unlike the other ladies, I didn't have a third beta.  Second beta doubled within less than 48 hours of the first, so the next thing is my u/s on 1/11.  I am experiencing morning sickness and sore boobs unlike anything I've ever felt before.  I'm also experiencing anxiety about the prospect of losing this appleseed.  Today I am 5 weeks, 1 day.

I am so happy for the BFPs and so incredibly sad for the BFNs.  I hope everybody can join up in PAIF very very soon.
