Emmy?

MH and I hardly ever agree on a name, so obviously the ones we both like go on our list. We both like Emmy, but aren't sure how to spell it.

I was going to make a CP, but for some reason TB won't let me.

If you ladies could tell me how you would spell Emmy that would help us out quite a bit! :-)

I would say either Emmy or Emmie.

Emmy or Emme are the only two IMO that don't look made-up.  Emme seems to me to be the one that doesn't seem like a nickname.  :)

I would go with Emmy.  I also agree it looks and sounds more like a NN and I can't picture it aging well.  I wouldn't do Emme because people might pronounce it "M" because of the popularity of Elle.

I like the name Emmy. I think the only spellings that work are Emmy and Emmie.

I would go with Emmy but I still feel it seems very juvenile. I can't picture anyone older than 10 with the full name Emmy.

This. Although, like another pp said, Emme may be pronounced as "Em".

All that being said though, I think she may be asked what her "real" name is...I was asked that a lot in school (my "real" name is Christy; it's not a nickname).
