WDYT of Moses?

I really like this name.  I love the fact that it is tied to the bible (we are both Christians), but I *love* the fact that it isn't as used as Daniel, Michael or Joseph (not that those names are bad, I actually like them as well!).  Plus, the strong "o" sounds very masculine to me, as well as old-fashioned.  Would you side-eye this name?  Also, I think some celebrity used it a while back, does that make it too cheesy?

I think this is Gwenwth Paltrow's son's name.

I like it OK, but it seems a bit "heavy" of a name to give to a little kid.  I am not religious, but I know enough to know that Moses was sort of a big deal in the bible, KWIS?

There are a lot of cool biblical names that are less used without the baggage, you know?

I wouldn't side-eye it exactly, but I do think it's kind of a heavy name for a kid, if that makes any sense.

 

ETA: Haha I could have just said "ditto Helena" I guess.

I like it, I wouldn't use it personally, but I like it. I for sure wouldn't side eye it.
I think its both cute for a little boy, and masculine for a grown man.

I would expect lots of eye rolling and some preconceptions about you and the kid from non-Christians. May be 'unfair' but probably reality.
