Question lactose intolerence

This may have already been an answered question, but I have not come across this yet.  Has or did anyone ever develop a lactose intolerance while pregnant?  I am from Wisconsin, so I love milk and all things dairy, cheese especially LOL.  Well I love cereal both for breakfast and for a snack, with Milk.  I notice I seem to get a bout of nausea when I have a glass of milk or bowl of cereal.  :(  I am not sure if its just a lactose intolerance thing, cause my tummy just gets super upset and a feel like i'm going to throw up.  Maybe its just morning sickness being brought on?  I know this should be the sign to stop drinking milk, but its a hard addiction lol. I'm wondering if soy milk is an alternative?  I don't mind the taste of soy milk, but it is fairly expensive compared to regular milk and I know nobody else in my household will want to drink soy milk lol. However, this might be my only option?

It's probably not a lactose intolerance. Pregnancy does weird things to your body and your gut. My IBS was magically healed during pregnancy, but came back post partum. It may just not tolerate it now, not that you've developed an actual total intolerance to dairy.

*Note that I write this as I munch on some cheese curds*

I definitely get more gassy from dairy and some meat products now.  It's not really an intolerance, just a more sensitive digestive system.  Although it's gotten a lot better in the last week or two so it's hopefully not a long term thing for either of us.

However, I developed an allergy to some of my pets recently and my midwife says it's likely caused by the pregnancy hormones and may or may not go away.  Which makes me really sad because I love my pets and I also can't take my allergy pills which means I don't spend any time with them anymore.  :(

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

You can take Claritin and Zyrtec, but nothing with a decongestant in it and no Allegra.

As for allergies, I totally know what you mean!  I have two dogs and a cat and I notice my eyes are super irritated and watery and my nose has been constantly dry, but stuffy for the past few weeks. ( granted its winter so the stuffy nose could be from the dry winter weather)  I am thinking that pets might be more of the reason.  I was looking into getting an air purifier, I wonder if that will help combat the pet dander?  The cat is actually my SIL's and they are actually moving out this week, so that might help too with one less pet. lol.

I developed an intolerance for lactose during my first pregnancy.  It was pretty terrible, made worse by the fact that the only thing I craved was milkshakes.

Good luck!  Mine only lasted for the first trimester.
