32 weeks lots of pressure

Anyone else experiencing lots of pressure in your lower stomach? This seems like a new symptom for me this week. I work at a desk and it just gets so uncomfortable by the end of the day that it even hurts to lay on my sides when I get home. I thought yoga would help this but it just keeps getting worse (and the bathroom visits are uneventful- I always feel like I have to go so bad and then get so disappointed when barely anything comes out!)

Suggestions to help give some relief? I still have 2 months to go!!

Could it be how the baby is laying?

I went for my 31 week checkup yesterday with the same feeling.  The nurse said its just how the third trimester goes...  Is it bad that I just want it to be March already?

Could you take an exercise ball to work and sit on that instead?

I have felt this occassionally so far.  It is horrible!  I wonder if the baby has decided my bladder makes the perfect cushion and just plants his little booty right on top of it.

I guess our bodies can't really tell the difference between the pressure of the baby and a FULL bladder?????   All I know is that there are moments my body is SCREAMING at me to GO! GO! GO! I rush to the bathroom and there is just....nothing.

I'm glad I am not alone.   I'd get up in the morning and could barely walk down the stairs because it felt like I did a million sit ups focusing on my lower abs.  I sit at a desk for work too and by about 1 pm I'm so uncomfortable and my upper back hurts. I haven't figured out how to at least be some what comfortable yet.  Sometimes I'll take a tyelonol if my back starts to hurt too bad.  I have a feeling these last weeks are going to go so slow.

My OB told me that your bladder might be full, but the way the baby is laying on it, it compresses the top part of it. That's why you barely pee and then like 10 minutes later, you have to go again. LO shifts and allows some more to drain. Try leaning forward before you decide you're actually done. As for the pressure and discomfort, I'll tell you what my OB told me "ohh... it's only going to get worse." Haha. Sorry! 38 weeks and it feels like more pressure every day. You sort of get used to it.

I'm 32wks too and been having alot lower pressure most of the end of 2nd trimester onwards. Glad to see i'm not alone on that. My OB says its normal- but it kinda freaks me out that the baby i feel is so low on my belly. I also have the peeing sensation quite frequently eventhough most times I don't have to go. I guess its just a 3rd trimester thing to get used to.
