What do you think is a good amount to have in savings when ttc? Trying to build up my savings account now as much as possible.

I think this is a difficult question to answer because so much of it depends on an individual's circumstances. For example, how much money you currently make, what your expenses and debts are, how long you want to stay home with the baby.

Yes It will be different for everyone.  It also depends a lot on where you live and the cost of living in that city.

Some families will have $100 and some will have $1m. It's totally dependent an so many factors. Figure out what will make you comfortable and what's realistic, set that as a goal and start working toward it!

If I aimed for this, I wouldn't have been TTC until I was in menopause.

It depends on your comfort level.  At a bare minimum you need enough to cover your hospital expenses and maternity leave.
