Eliana Nicole

My husband and I each came up with our own lists of names and Eliana was on mine, so I should be elated that he loved it, but now I'm having second thoughts.  Although, I do love the nickname Ellie.

Also, my name is Nicole and I don't know how I feel about our LO having my name as a middle name.  I proposed Iris, my grandmother's name, but DH says it doesn't have a nice flow to it. 

Thoughts?

It sounds like a fine name.  My name is also Nicole Smile, and DD's mn is Nicole (per DH's request), and I don't think it's weird.  Some people here think it's narcissistic, but meh.

What about Iris Nicole? I think that's a beautiful name!

Edit: I think Eliana Nicole is beautiful too, but I thought Iris would be a nice choice after your grandmother.

I like the name Eliana, but not the NN Ellie.

I prefer Eliana Iris. The flow is just fine.

I think Eliana Nicole is a beautiful name (I like it better than Eliana Iris), but if you are second guessing it then put a pin in it and keep looking. I've found you sometimes have to take a break from obsessing over names, come back to it in a few weeks, and see how you feel.
