Delaney?

Can I get your thoughts on Delaney for a little girl?  Any MN suggestions?  Our last name is also three syllables and ends with an n.

I had a student named Delaney and she is one of the cutest, spirited little girls ever! Plus, it is still unique..your child won't be in a classroom with a bunch of Delaney's. If you like it, go for it.

Near the top of my  Dislike list.........I don't know why, I just really don't like this name. I know a couple of delightful little girls with this name and it doesn't change anything for me.

I really like it as well. I would also go with a shorter mn. I have a hard time making mn suggestions though because I usually like them to be family names or have some sort of meaning. So, sorry, no suggestions here...but total love for the name! :)

I love it! We are using it as a middle name for DD2! If we had used it for a first name, I probably would have wanted a one syllable MN. My middle name is Blair so we might have gone with that.

My Delaney's mn is Grace (which is a family name).  We call her Dee, Lady Dee. I had total plans on calling her Laney but that wasn't who she is. No regrets here. But people either love it or hate. I get a lot of 'that is awesome, love it' and many 'oh, what do you call her?' I smile every time I say it!

I love it.  I think Delaney Rose has nice flow.  With 3 syllables in a first and last name, I thing a MN needs to be a single syllable unless you are honoring someone.
