Is anyone else's lo doing this? I'm a bit worried

Lo is 10 days old, after we feed her she starts squirming around and crunches herself up, makes grunting noises and whines, and her breathing gets rapid.  She does this for several seconds, stops, goes back to normal for about 10mons and does it again.

Is this normal and what is she doing?  Should I be be worried?

No, you should not be worried. My baby did the same thing. I asked the pediatrician and she said it was normal and that infants do that. So don't worry.

Mine does the same. Sometimes she needs a burp but mostly she is just squirmy.

I remember my LO doing this when she was brand new too. It did stop. However we did have an issue with her being real gassy, and when we started on gas drops with every feeding, and a gentle formula, and while it didn't completely eliminate it, it certainly helped it.

My LO did the same thing. I believe it was a mixture of gas and reflux...but more of the reflux. She would squirm and grunt for a while after feeding and didn't want to lay on her back. The doctor gave her medicine for reflux and now I believe she is starting to outgrow the reflux at a little over 2 months.

DD does this too. She hasn't been diagnosed with reflux but I burp her every 1-2 oz and hold her upright after a feeding for 20 min. This has helped a lot, she still does this when she gets really hungry though. Babies are weird :)
