How do I know when LO is eating too much?

My LO is 3 months old today, yay! We bumped her up to 6 oz a few weeks ago. I felt like she was on 4 oz forever. I figured if she would finish the bottle then she was ready. However, I have been noticing that she spits up way more towards the end of the bottle. The spit up starts by the time she finishes the 4 oz. I have been giving her 4 oz again and she doesn't cry or fuss for more if I stop her at 4 oz. She is on Gentlelease and I have been adding a scoop of A.R because of the spit up. Maybe that 1 scoop is filling her up more that she is OK with the 4 oz. Is 4 oz too little for a 12 week old? She eats every 3 hours.

Every baby is different. Why would you bump it up 2oz instead of just 1/2oz-1oz?My LO is eating 5oz at each feeding. If she is fine at 4oz and is gaining weight I wouldn't bump it up until she starts signaling she's still hungry after a bottle.

Dd1 was on 4oz forever. She started wanting more fussing when she finished her 4oz, wanting to eat sooner than every 3hrs,etc around 6 months. If she's happy after 4oz than just keep her at that. She'll let you know when she ready to eat more!
