Ready to Feed Disposable Nipples

Anyone use these? I noticed on Amazon that these nipples come with a slow flow and standard flow. How long do babies typically take the slow flow for? Or should I just go right to the standard flow? I think the hospitals only provide the standard flow so perhaps the sow flow isn’t necessary. TIA!

I just used the standard since that's what the hospital started with. FYI, you can wash and reuse them. The nipple and ring come apart for washing. I only had 5  or 7 of them and washed and reused instead of constantly buying more.

Thanks, I did not know that. How many times can you wash them without them breaking down?

I don't know exactly. We only did the ready to fed for the first month sincey pedi told us it was easier on their systems. After a month though they are still in the same shape. I believe even on amazon in the description it said they can be reused. DS is doing 6 oz bottles now spit would be a pain to switch him three times on those little ready to feed bottles.

We have been washing and reusing for almost 4 weeks and the only issue is the label part gets sticky.

We tried regular bottles, and believe me it is worth the hassle to go with these!  She got super gassy, irritable, and would not poop!

Pregnant with the love of our sweet carrier, Roo! (After treatments, no babies, and a failed adoption plan we joined the world of surrogacy thru IVF and have a little bun in Roo's oven!!)

The 8 oz ones looked bigger to me, but I may be wrong. I was giving DS the Enfamil Newborn and they didn't make an 8 oz of that. I guess they figured the newborns won't eat that much. I will have to check out the regular enfamil to see if the nipples fit. Will be convenient to buy some of those for whe we are out when I switch DS over.
