We just bought the Delta Canton convertible crib. We also bought the convertible bed rails that go with it, since I've heard that they sometimes discontinue them by the time you're ready to convert it. I'm totally psyched to see that it's gone up in price on Amazon by $80 since I bought it - glad I bought it two days ago!! I figure once we get the promotional code, we can use that to buy a crib mattress.
We're also planning on getting the Delta Eclipse dresser, and using that as a changing table for the first few months. I really wanted to get products that I could get my money's worth, and I think these can both be used for a while, so I'm happy :)
