Baby front carrier/sling suggestions

Well it's been 8 yrs since my last baby so I'm looking for suggestions on the best baby front carrier and or sling to put on my registry that isn't way expensive. 

Any suggestions?

I don't know what you consider to be way expensive, but an Ergo or a Beco Gemini are both great carriers.

Check to see if Nurtured Family has anything on clearance.

I think 100 is pretty reasonable for something that we use so much.

I agree with these and the Boba as well. Avoid the crotch danglers.

I like my Ergo. I think the resale value is great too, so you can sell it when you are done (or try to scoop up a used one).

I love by Infantino carrier.  It fits babies starting at 8 pounds in the front and can eventually become a back carrier.  It's not bulky or heavy but it's not flimsy either.  I think it was around $30-35 dollars.

I have a Boba and got it for $50 on sale on Zulily.com but I know I see them for $80-100 on sale a lot. I love it. My daughters both still love it. I used it a couple weeks ago at Sea World with my smallest girl for a few hours while PG.

I recommend the Ergo.  I haven't used a newborn insert.  I have one but I never bothered with it.  With only one baby I didn't use a carrier all that much but with #2 I've used it a lot.
