I talked with my IVF coordinator today about ways to reduce anxiety about the cycle and the waiting after ET. She suggested to try unmedicated first with either Acupuncture or Massage therapies. I was actually surprised she suggested massage because I didn't think it was safe after ET. She said as long as you don't do the deep tissue, I'd be fine. I'm still uncertain about this, has anyone here tired massage therapy during the cycle and after ET?
I've done acupuncture before and I am leaning more towards that since it's safer, or at least in my mind it seems safer. Any thoughts?

Personally, I don't trust most massage therapists to know what would be ok. My acu and his wife took 3 ivf's to conceive and so he knows the level of stress and risk involved.
You could maybe try massage just before ET and acu after?

Tests showed death due to (fluke) blood clot in umbilical cord. :( May 24 2013: Hysterscopy to remove uterine adhesion post D&E. We have three frosties. FET on July 18, 2013! We live in Seattle and used SRM for our Donor Egg IVF cycle.
Thanks Ladies. I actually asked for a referral for a massage therapist since I don't know any in the area. My coordinator's sister is actually a massage terapist so I asked for the number of the place she works at. I would only go to her since she sees a few other IVF patients and she understands IVF and infertility since her sister is my IVF coordinator. But I the idea of massage before ET and then acupuncture after ET is a good idea too.... hum, I'll have to continue to research.

I'm a huge fan of acupuncture! I despise massage. It has the exact opposite effect on me than everyone else it seems (stresses me out, and I end up in more pain afterwards than before) so I might not be the best person to ask about that one! But acupuncture did great things for me personally, so I reccomend it to everyone.
