Share your Best Freezable Recipes!

Hubby and I got a deep freezer for Christmas, and I'd love to stock it up before baby arrives. What are some of your favorite freezable recipes?

I like to buy the premade Michael Angelo's lasagna and call it a meal!  With a loaf of garlic bread.  Easy and good!

We aren't doing it this time around as we have no space, but with DS we made a ton of marinara sauce, chili, filling for chicken pot pie, etc.

We will probably be doing A LOT of quick, easy meals this time around.  Things like sloppy joes, spaghetti with garlic and oil, chicken soup, etc.  Those are so easy to make.

I found this website and got a month-long membership - it is $8 of unlimited access:

http://onceamonthmom.com/

It is great - it gives you all types of food (vegetarian, whole foods, etc) to choose from, and then it gives you everything you need to be organized to cook and freeze in one day including shopping lists, labels, what to freeze everything in, recipes, etc.

I cooked a mini 5 meal plan the other week and it was so easy and everything looks DELICIOUS - a lot of it is just to throw in the crock pot too and will be super easy.  Some of the food you don't even need to cook to prepare, you just combine the ingredients and freeze.  It is awesome.  I would have done a whole month menu if I had a deep freezer.

Tuna/Chicken Noodle Casserole.

It's ridiculously simple and my husband loves the chicken version.

1 large can of chicken or tuna, the good stuff, strained well

1 bag of egg noodles

1 Can of Campbells cream of celery soup

2 tsp of garlic salt

1/2 bag of frozen peas

Make the noodles then drain them, add in the meat and the celery soup, stir until well mixed together. Add in the peas and garlic salt, mix and serve. Sometimes I'll add cheese on top or bread crumbs then toss it under the broiler to give it a crunchy topping which is also good. Freezes really easily.

My little miracle.

Thanks for the great ideas! I'll have to try that website!  And the chicken noodle casserole sounds simple and delish =)
