I don't want to BF because it makes me crazy... will the nurses at the hospital try to force me to do it?

they will most likely encourage you to at least try. It really is the best thing you can do for your baby. even if you just managed to do it for a week the baby would get a lot of antibodies from the colostrum

It depends on the hospital and the nurses working there at the time. You dont have to do anything you dont want to do so dont let them push you around or try to make you feel bad for whichever option you choose. The hospital I went to was TERRIBLE. I wasnt producing milk due to my PCOS and the nurses who believed in breast feeding were very rude and condescending when I asked to suppliment with formula. But thank God I did bc my LO lost more weight then the norm even with the formula. If I could go back I wouldnt have let them try to boss me around. Do what you want. Usually you just have to sign a waiver to start using formula.
