I got a gift card to Old Navy for Christmas to order some Maternity jeans. I'm short and small and normally only wear skinny jeans. I like wearing my boots over my jeans. The only pair I found in store was at Motherhood, the Heidi Klum ones with the belly panel. The are a little too big still for me but comfy and easy to wear with my maternity belt I have to wear per the doc. Wearing my normal jeans with a bella band is fine but it's too much bulk with the maternity belt.
Anywhooooo got my Old Navy jeans in today. And wanted to give my Review. Love the jeans. They are soft and comfy true to size. Pre Pregnancy I wear a size 1 and the ones I ordered are size 1. BUT what is up with the belly panel! It's SUPER tight! I couldn't imagine being able to get that part over my hips much longer. It makes no sense! I almost popped out my hip trying to get the belly panel in place LOL it's not even stretchable on the top elastic band. They are mail back return only and that's a pain. I might need to get creative and un-stitch the top elastic after awhile and re do it myself.
Anyone else tried Old Navy Maternity jeans and think the same about the belly panel? Maybe it's just the Rock Star Skinny leg Jeggings....or whatever they are called that I ordered ;-).
I feel like the demi panel stretches a little bit after a while.
I put mine in the dryer and they get tight again.
When you wash them don't toss them in the dryer and maybe they will loosen up and fit you more comfy.
The only ones from ON I actually like are the ones with the woven waistband that doesn't really even have a panel at all.
The full panel and demi panels never really fit me well.

I think it is just those particular ones that have the super tight belly panel. I have them and find them tight as well, but I also have other skinny jeans, full panel from ON that fit a bit looser all around. You might even just go up a sz. in those ones and find they fit better, but def try the other skinny jean styles. HTH!
