Blighted Ovum

Hi all, I re-posted to a previous thread but wanted to make sure that I shared my story so that if it happens to anyone else you can take comforting in knowing you are not alone.

Went for an ultrasound last week on Thrusday. Only measured 5 weeks and 5 days. (should have been 8 weeks 5 days) The sac was the only thing present. Went again today and measured 6 weeks, again, only seeing a gestational sac. HCG levels are dropping.

Was diagnosed with a blighted ovum and am having a D&C next Monday. 

I hope you all have sticky babies and healthy pregnancies. Next time I am on the bump, I hope to be posting good news.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My first loss was a blighted ovum. I hope you're back here with good news when you're ready!
My Ovulation Chart BFP #1 8/25/12 EDD 4/28/13 Blighted Ovum, D&C 9/20/12 at 8w6d. I'll always remember the first one. My baby Grace. BFP #2 12/26/12 EDD 9/4/13 Come on, rainbow baby!

Keep your spirits up!  My first pregnancy was a blighted ovum and I was devestated.  I had a D&C and six weeks later...I was pregnant with my beautiful baby boy who is now 9 months.  You are very fertile after a D&C.  I had the hardest time getting pregnant and I truly believe I would never have had a sticky pregnancy if it was not for my D&C.
