Canadians?

I noticed there's a couple other Canadians on these boards.  I ordered some Wonfo OPKs and pregnancy test strips on Amazon.ca.  There's not really much to choose from on there, though.  You can't order these sorts of tests from Amazon.com as they won't ship to Canada.

Where do you get your OPKs or pregnancy tests (for a good price?) other than Amazon.ca?  My local pharmacy sells pregnancy tests sticks for like $10 for a 2-pack.  Ouch.

I've been avoiding OPKs so far because I'm just far too cheap (I'm in Ontario, and they are stupid expensive). I'm not a hug fan of ordering things online, but if I'm still not pregnant by the end of this cycle I may cave and order some. Going to keep charting CM and temps for now.

Initially, I got mine at Dollarama for 1.25 a pop. Some other ladies here directed me to saveontests.com (ships out of Vancouver) and opktests.com (ships out of Alberta) and I've used those since. I got Preseed through opktests.com as well.

I've ordered from these ones, too.

Thank you for asking this! I bought some at Shopper's but they were crazy expensive. I'll check out these websites for next cycle.

I used saveontests also.

While we're here, for those of you who chart, where did you buy your thermometer? I went to Zellers and Walmart tonight and could not find a thermometer that reads to .xx of a degree. Even the "3M Nexcare basal body thermometer" was only to .x of a degree.

Got mine in Japan.  It's by a company in Japan called Terumo and it's called the 'woman c520'.  It's cool cause it charts for me.  I never did buy the software for it to chart on the computer, cause the little chart on the screen served my purposes for 4 years.

The only place I've seen one is at Shoppers. They have a Life brand one that comes with paper charts. It was $19.99 last time I checked. Not sure if that was the sale price or regular. I've just been using a regular digi that measures to 1 decimal place. The flat temps annoy me sometimes but I've always been able to see a clear shift so I haven't been tempted to spend the $$ to switch yet.

I'm just using a Walmart digital thermometer. I think it's Vicks? I'm not sure if it reads to .xx of a degree. I did notice in Shoppers tonight that they had a BBT in the family planning section. I contemplated picking it up but was already spending $30 on sperm friendly lube. I'm going to stick with my Vicks one for now and maybe switch next month if this doesn't give me a clear enough O date.

I really love it!  When I did a search for the image I see that they have a new model out now.  Now I want that one, and for no reason whatsoever. hahaha (thank god I don't own apple products, eh?).  Anyway, the model I have keeps track of spotting, AF, fevers, CM, nausea, BD, and one other factor I can't remember.  And about 500 days of data!

Anyway, there must be some BBT monitors around that measure to .xx!  Let me stalk the above websites.  I was sure I saw one available on one of those.

You can order a Mabis BBT online for pretty cheap, not too sure about shipping.  It's in Fahrenheit, and doesn't have a back light, but has a memory function and is dirt cheap.

I have the life brand one from Shoppers and have 0 issues with it.  It has a memory function, so I take my temp, turn it off after it beeps and read it when I get up.

I actually got a Lifebrand one from Shoppers DrugMart so check there.  I used it when charting with my DS and I'm using it again now.  It wasnt expensive.

I just ordered a new bunch from Amazon.ca

The prices are much better on Amazon.ca as well :)

I order mine from amazon.can and they are the same ones most people order from amazon.com...the wondfos. they are a little more expensive and take forever, but they are the same stuff, and you don't need more selection as they are great!

I ordered wondfos off amazon.ca as well, I think I got 40 OPK's and 10 HPT's for 30 something dollars with shipping, not nearly as good as amazon.com is for people in the states but if you break it down per strip it's WAY better than anything from a drugstore, or even the dollar store.  I also got 3 digital pregnancy tests on amazon.com that shipped to canada and it was like $12 total with shipping!! So good, its like $50 for 2 digital tests in regular stores.

Late to the party, but I've ordered all my TTC stuff from makeababy.ca and have been pretty happy with everything - pricing, shipping, etc.  With my orders, I've usually received a coupon for a discount off the next order too, so that helps!

The dollar store 1.50 per one. And they work just as good as the others. I am not sure what the price of the O kits are. I never used them.
