birth control never used before

Just wondering if anyone hasn't really been on birth control before and now are and what to use. I used it before I was married and had a lot of ovarian cysts. We knew we wanted kids once we were married so I didn't use anything. But now we just had our 3 child I would like to use something. Just not sure what is good.

I'm getting an iud, paraguard, put in next week. 10 yrs of hormone free birth control! Yes please! I did very poorly with the hormones in the pills I took early on our marriage, and I do poorly with all hormonal changes during preg and childbirth. I'm done with my body being out of whack.
daughter born June 2011 via C-Section, son born November 2012 via VBAC
