I just took mine out last week. It wasn't hurting. I figured it had to come out eventually do I just did it. I wanted it out before it did hurt. Every time I look at my belly now it looks naked lol.

I still have mine in. I plan on wearing it until I have to take it our or it becomes painful. I have to take it out for my next u/s, the tech told me to (she wasn't the friendliest person).

I took mine out sometime during first trimester because I knew it was going to come out sooner or later, and I wanted to get used to the look of now having it in. Now at 26 weeks, it almost looks like I have two alien belly buttons because of where my belly button piercing used to be.

I tried just for fun a few weeks ago to put my piercing back in, and while it did go in, it looked completely awkward and not sexy at all. It kind of makes me wish though that I never got my belly button pierced in the first place, now that I have this extra belly button looking hole going on :(.

I left mine in until around 30 weeks or so with DD. I plan on doing the same this time around. Until it annoys me.

My belly button never popped out just got pretty flat so I didn't take it out until like 32 weeks or so last time.

I never put it back in after DD was born though so I haven't had to worry about it this pregnancy.

I took mine out at the hospital during labor...both times. I don't imagine I'll do anything different this time.

Agreed. I took mine out a few years ago because it was starting to bother me when I would wear my work pants and I never knew that hole would never go away. Otherwise, I might have kept it in. My hole in my nose closed up pretty nicely so I figured it would be the same...WRONG!

FYI you can buy flexible belly button barbells that are specifically made for pregnancy. I took mine out years ago but I remember seeing them online.

I took mine out about a week ago because it started to hurt a bit right around the where the ring was.  I hadn't taken it out in about 15 years, so it was quite a moment haha!  Now that its gone I no longer feel any pain, so it was a good move.

Last pregnancy I kept mine in and bought a flexible bar bell kind.  Sometime in 3rd tri, I had to take it out because it basically was growing out of my body. There was barely any skin holding it in at that point. It left me with this weird dark scar that my dermatologist didn't like, so I had it removed by a plastic surgeon. What a mess. If I had known, I would have just taken it out. But plenty of people do OK and I really wanted to keep it. :o(

I still have it on me, use the plastic flexible one. If it doesn't get not sore I will keep it all the way until the day I'm in the laboring room :)

Took mine out around 17 weeks because it started to feel like it was pulling and was irritated. Took several weeks for it to not look so strange since I've had that piercing for 11 years. Not sure yet if I'll put it back in or not.

The more your stomach grows, the more that hole will stretch.  I have a really weird scar thingy from mine with DD1.

I had my belly button pierced for several years and took it out maybe 3 or 4 years ago? I STILL have a hole where it used to be although it doesn't go all the way through. I have this too and it's gross. Ugh. I wish I had never done it in the first place.

I will wear mine for 6 months and leave it out for a year and it never closes (have had it since 14) so I just don't wear mine at all during pregnancy.

I had the pregnancy flexible one like you mentioned.  I just took mine out last week because the top part of the hole was red and irritated from stretching out.  The redness has gone away so I may put it back in but not sure yet.
