Feminine-leaning unisex names?

If there is such a thing ;) Do you have any suggestions? I'm more of a fan of clearly feminine names but DH likes unisex names. I'm hoping maybe we can meet in the middle and if it sounds "softer" I might fall in love. Also, neither one of us want anything trendy (although I get that the whole concept is fairly trendy) like Quinn, Riley, etc...and nothing beginning with B.

Any brilliant ideas? TIA!

Aubrey is considered unisex, but sounds very feminine to me. Addison and Avery as well.

I was also going to say Avery.

Madison, Harper?

You could go "old school" with Ashley or Leslie.

I was going to suggest Aubrey as well. What about Frances? I really like Frances/Francis for both sexes. Morgan, Kendall, Reese? I don't know. I'm not very good at unisex names.

Frances actually sounds weird with DS's name, plus it's actually a mn contender, but thanks- I do love it, just not for a fn. Thanks for the suggestions ladies. So far the only one I like is Reese, but I really just like it (Rhys) for a boy!

I was just reading your siggy and wanted to congratulate you on making it this far with your pregnancy! I can relate to what you've been through (5 miscarriages as well). It's so hard. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is very uneventful!

I can only think of Evelyn.

It was originally masculine but is still occasionally used for boys (this is very rare).

I did not know that and I actually really like Evelyn (and nn Evie) but it sounds awful/rhymy with our last name :(

So, this name isn't popular but I have heard it for boys and girls.  Also, it is my name and I have loved it.

This is what I had to do to convince DH. I wasn't a fan of a formal name that was masculine, but I could get on board with a more masculine nn. This won him over and DD has a very feminine name, but definitely a masc. nn. I am a resume snob so my names have to read well on paper without a face.

Blair, Reese, and Emerson are my favorites.

Some others would be Avery, Sydney, Taylor, Cameron, Blake...

I have a friend named Kallen (female) and though I don't love it, I think it sounds nice.  I think it sounds unisex and similar to the unisex name Caelan.

The only one I could think of that hasn't already been mentioned was Vivian, which used to be a masculine name. Either that or Cameron?

Avery was the first name that came to mind.

Other suggestions: Cory/Corrie, Reese, Hayden, Riley, Cameron, Jordan/Jordyn, Kennedy, Shawn, Skylar, Parker, Carson, Taylor

Any chance your husband would agree to a more feminine name that has a more boyish nn?  I think this ages so much better.

Suggestions:

Charlotte (Charley/Charlie)

Andrea (Andy)

Kristin/Christina/Krista/etc (Kris/Chris)

Josephine (Jo/Joey)

Lorelei or Aurora (Rory)

Alexandra/Alexa/Alexis (Alex)
