#1 - 17 hours, 2 hours of pushing, baby was OP - at 37 weeks exactly
#2 - 7 hours, 2 pushes - 40w6d
#3 - 20 hours, 45 minutes of pushing, baby was OP - on her due date
none of my labors were induced
None were induced
1- 40wks 1 day 16.5 hours 1 hour pushing pitocin was used
2- 36 wks 5 days 5 hours, a few pushes no pitocin
3- 36 wks 5 days (just so happen to be the exact same gestional day as the last) 10 hours, a few pushes. My water broke, and labor was slow to get going so I think that is why it was longer than my second. Pitocin was used.
#1-42 weeks 2 days- From the time my water broke 46 hours
#2- 41 weeks 1 day- From the time my water broke 32 Hours
With both girls I was in "mild labor" for about 2 days. My water broke farely early (2 cm, which I guess only happens to 10% of women). Then contractions slowed down...and they put me on pitocin. That stuff is evil! I will go natural this time and be refusing pitocin.
Good luck!!!
Lurking...
My first I was dilated 6cm at my last appt and I was sent home and ended up going into labor later that night at 38wks4d. From regular contractions to baby was about 8hrs. Pushed for about 10mins. Tore horribly.
With my second I was dilated 5cm at my last appt (38wks5d) and she decided to go ahead and send me to l&d. She broke my water and he was here 1.5hrs later. 2 pushes. My Dr missed it. No tearing at all.
Both weighed the same (7lbs7oz) but my second was 2in longer.
