Tww a killer!

First month ttc officially, the tww is a killer and its only my first time. I ovulated 28/12, so now 9dpo, got a bfn on 7dpo on an early hpt. Hoping it was still too early. Trying to hold out till 15dpo till I test again. I am over analyzing every single twinge and hunger pain. Dreamt I got spotting the other night and woke up depressed when I realized I hadn't. Lol, I feel like such a loser obsessing secretly over this knowing its only our first month but everyone I know keeps telling me how "it worked first time for me" or " we weren't even trying". I haven't told ppl we are trying now as I don't want extra pressure or questions. It feels good to express myself here though.

First welcome this is a great place that can offer a lot of fun, great knowledge and some well timed snark. At the top of the main screen there is a green section. In there, there is a newbie link. Read that because it has a ton of good stuff in it.

Second TTC can make you cray cray so find some hobbies that will distract you. Otherwise this could feel like a really long road.

Third a forum or message board it meant to create conversation. A blog is meant to exprerss feeling. A lot of ladies here blog to release this stuff. Sounds like that might help you.

Other than that good luck and hope your stay is short and sweet.

There's a 2ww post daily. Express your feelings there. Otherwise, welcome and good luck.

Me: 31 DH: 31. B/W: good. SA: good.
November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
January 2013: Unmedicated. P4 was 8.4. Meds recommended.
February 2013: Femara 2.5 mg and TI. P4 was 8.5. Meds will be doubled next cycle.
March 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. P4 was over 11.
April 2013: Femara 5 mg and IUI#1. P4 was 11.4. Post wash over 40 million.
May 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. Vacation during FW.

It's our first full cycle trying too and I know exactly how you feel. Keep trying to tell myself that it doesn't normally happen the first time around but it's hard to not be hopeful! I'm 8DPO and haven't taken a test yet...I think your first was def too early. Good luck!!

Testing at 7 dpo is wasting a test, pretty much.

The first 2ww is the worst. Hang in there.
Me: 30, DH: 34. TTC since 2/2012 DH's SA 12/17/12 - Normal FSH, Estrogen, Progestrone,Prolactin, TSH,glucose, lipids Normal 1st TTC OBGYN appt 1/4/13 - not helpful 1st RE appt 2/15/13- Antral Follicle count 90th % for age. Ruled out sperm issue and ovulation/egg issue. Investigating anatomical causes of infertility. HSG 2/19/13 = tubes clear possible polyp, Saline sonogram 3/14/13 polyp confirmed. Started birth control to wait for hysteroscopy. Polyp removed 3/29/13. RE thinks polyp was the "culprit." Plan continue trying on our own for 2-3 cycles. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3bf60b
