It really shouldn't matter whether you have 1000 posts, 10,000 posts, or 1 post. The truth is, being on the internet (and therefore unaccountable for your actions) should not be a license for rudeness or being unkind.
However, there are people who disagree, and that is their right.
My advice to the OP is to ignore those posts/posters who are rude and unsupportive. There are plenty of us who do believe this can be a supportive place.
