Wow...i guess the sea bands do work for me...

So I've had nausea since 5 weeks, and if it's anything like my other pregnancies, I'll have it till the 5th month or so. gr.

I've been using sea bands and taking b6 as well as constant grazing to make sure that it doesn't develop into anything BUT mild nausea...and wondering if the sea bands, etc do work....

I took a shower last night, and afterwards, i'm watching tv with the fam, and I start getting this rolling nausea, and it keeps building. I was like, oh, great, it's just getting worse, and thought I'd have to head to the bathroom..then realized I never put my sea bands back on after the shower!

So a small amount of nausea was better than the rolling feeling I had last night. Just wanted to share with everyone...you never know what might work.

Good luck to everyone!

Yup Sea bands  helped me last pregnancy. I would have to wear long sleeves at work to keep them on when I still had not told anyone I was pregnant yet!

Love them. But they're definitely ugly and need to be hidden with sleeves, whether you've "come out" or not! I'll take ugly over excessive vomiting any day though.

yep. Be careful, I outed myself already. I was dropping off my lil one at preschool, and helped her do a hand wash. My sleeves raised a little bit, and one of the teachers saw my fashion accessory. Lol

My step mother just borrowed me her pair as I had to go on a long car ride this weekend.  They worked amazingly and I didn't have any nausea.  It was awesome and I recomend these for sure!  lol

They worked so well for me in my first pregnancy, and aren't doing a damn thing this time around. Le sigh.

You really should get yourselves a set of Psi Bands! Not only are they waterproof -- so you don't have to take them off to shower -- BUT, they are way cuter so you won't have to hide them under long sleeves. Check out www.psibands.com. I used them and still use them for travel. Good luck!
