searching charts with fertility friend (FYI)

A lot of you are probably aware of the various tools fertility friend has, and probably even the search tool, but I just wanted to point out a nice feature of it -- you can how other people have fared based on certain stats such as your intercourse pattern for a particular cycle, age, etc.

For the "best" timing (O-4 through O+1), 40% of charts had a pregnancy.

For just O, 31% of charts had pregnancy. O-1 was the best, though: 33%. 

O-4 (20%) is better than O+1 (15%). 

Assuming people are usually able to hit their fertile window one way or another, it seems like the odds of conceiving on any given cycle are maybe around 33%, depending on your timing (if you do EOD the odds are 37% or 38%), though I know we have thrown around a smaller number on this board in the past (more like 20%).

btw this was just an FYI post and I have zero connection to fertility friend. I just thought some people might find it useful to explore if they haven't already. I found it interesting (though not especially surprising, I suppose) that just hitting your fertile window at all is worth more than hitting it multiple times. Also even if you have amazing timing your odds are against a pregnancy in any given month.

ETA: I am not sure if this is a VIP only feature. If it is, please let me know if you want me to get the stats on a particular intercourse pattern or anything else.

Me: 30, DH: 34. TTC since 2/2012 DH's SA 12/17/12 - Normal FSH, Estrogen, Progestrone,Prolactin, TSH,glucose, lipids Normal 1st TTC OBGYN appt 1/4/13 - not helpful 1st RE appt 2/15/13- Antral Follicle count 90th % for age. Ruled out sperm issue and ovulation/egg issue. Investigating anatomical causes of infertility. HSG 2/19/13 = tubes clear possible polyp, Saline sonogram 3/14/13 polyp confirmed. Started birth control to wait for hysteroscopy. Polyp removed 3/29/13. RE thinks polyp was the "culprit." Plan continue trying on our own for 2-3 cycles. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3bf60b

Thanks - this was pretty interesting.

I don't have the VIP version, so I can look at charts, but the search is more limited and FF doesn't give you the pregnancy stats.
