Poll! Heart rate and sex!

For those who know their babies sex, I'm curious to how accurate the saying about girls having faster heart rates and boys being slower actually is.

At your appointments what was your baby's heart rate and what are you having?!

Almost always right around 160/165 and we're having a girl.

We're having a boy and generally his heart rate has been in the 150's, although last week he was at 146.

A boy and his HR has been consistent right at 150. At 9 weeks it was 180 and then dropped to 160 at 13 weeks. Since then, in the 150s.

Having a girl.. for some reason, my last appt was the only time they told me her heart rate, which was 160!

It changes through out the pregnancy.  At my last appointment, 5 days ago, it was 154. We are having a boy.

Not true for me. My DD always ranged between 140 and 150. This one is a boy and is staying in the high 150 to 160.

My boy's heart rate has always been in the high 150s to mid 160s.  So, I think the whole heart rate gender myth is a wash.

I'm having a girl, but her heart rate goes from 130-150.  Due to some risks I've had fetal monitoring in 1 hours sessions at a time and it always fluctuates in that range.

I have two girls and both of their heartrates were in the 160s the entire pregnancies. This time we're having a boy and he's been right around 140 at every appointment since the beginning.

The "old wives tale" worked for me- we are having a little boy and his heart rate has always been in the 140's-150's (at least at my appointments)

agreed! It has to do with activity level.... Just like when you work out. You LO has a higher HB because it has probably been busy. Lower because it is at rest. 
Life was wonderful before you came along. Now I can't imagine how much more spectacular it will be when you come into our lives.

Wasn't right for us....  HR was 180 at first, then got down a little, but we are having a little boy.

I was team green with the first two, but DD was always high 150s to 170s and DS was always 140s to mid 150s. This time we know we're having a girl, and her heart rate is alway mid to high 150s to 160s. However, my best friend also has a boy and girl, but their heart rates were both about the same throughout her pregnancies.

DS1 was always around 160.  DS2 is generally in the low 130s.

Girl and 140s last couple appt. Most recent was 130. Early hr was 170s and 160s. Ill know for sure when i calve out as my dad says. I hope shes a girl doc wasn't 100 percent sure.
