Seat belt doesn't lock anymore.

So SO takes out the car seats when he goes out with his friends. When he went to put them back he noticed that one of the back seat belts doesn't lock anymore. I don't have a latch in my car. Do they sell something that will lock it or do I need to go get it fixed? Can someone even fix a seat belt? The kids haven't been out because of the cold and I don't plan on taking them out anytime soon. TIA

None of them lock, at all? I would take it to the mechanic and have it looked at.

Ditto what PP said, but also most carseats come with a clip that you can connect to the seatbelt that will lock it. It's called a locking clip and it's specifically for seatbelts that don't lock. Both of DS's old baby seats have one.

I think that it is actually not a big deal for a mechanic to replace a seatbelt. Have a mechanic take a look to see if that is necessary

You can get a seatbelt fixed. In my old car I had a ton of work done after an accident, replacing the seatbelt was one.

No only one of them doesn't lock. Behind the driver in the back seat. The middle and the other side do lock. Thanks though I didn't know seat belts can be fixed lol

They sell the locking clips at TRU, but if anyone needs to sit in that seat it would be unsafe.  I would just get it repaired.
