Not for nothing, but DD2 hasn't fit in her carrier since she was about 5-6 months old. I only ever folded her up into it when we were in the car. As soon as she was able to stay sitting up on her own, she was in the front of the cart at the grocery store, or in a double stroller with her sister. They often like to shriek to hear themselves, but if she is throwing a fit, I'd bet the farm she is frustrated with laying on her back while stuff is happening around her that she can't see. Congratulations, you have a normal, inquisitive infant.
