Shapewear

Since so many of you are nearing your due date, have any of you thought about compression and shapewear? What brands do you recommend? How many of you have tried Wink shapewear products with prior pregnancies?

I believe almost immediately. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns!

Shapewear has many benefits! Wink helps tighten and tone faster after delivery. it also helps you lose those unrelenting inches to help you fit easier into your pre-pregnancy clothing. In addition to those benefits, Wink also helps curb appetite, reduce cramping and helps your posture. Check out their website at http://winkshapewear.com

Oh, compression shapewear are a MUST after giving birth. This is to help your stomach and uterus go back to its original condition. Imagine a 7 lb baby that used to occupy your uterus is now gone. What's left behind is a "vacuum" (so to speak). I started wearing one after delivery and was so glad I did. The support it gave me is amazing. I don't feel like it (my tummy) is just "hanging out there". Compression garments are a must after liposuction - same principle: to compress the skin back and allow the body to heal. So, there really is an importance in wearing one.

It is important to wear it asap (unless you have a C section wound to recover from). Wear it as soon as your would heals if you have a C section. Your body is in recovery mode after delivery, so the sooner the better.
