Swollen nipples?

Anyone have swollen nipples? I've been dealing with this for a monthjust on one side though. MD sent me for an ultrasound of it. Just waiting for news on what's up.
Oh, and yes, the girls are much bigger than prepregnancy. This is in addition to...

I just noticed this yesterday with my left nipple.  I am planning on asking my OB about it at my appt. on Thursday.

My nipples tend to get tender from time to time, but it isn't an ongoing thing. But it's odd, I'll try to see when or what triggers them to be tender, and I can't quite figure it out since it happens at such random moments!

This just happened to me this morning, my left nipple was very swollen and bumpy. I am not sure what this is from... I might call my doctor later. It has gotten slightly better since I've woken up, but it is still hard and tender. I knew my breasts were going to change, but this is crazy.
