Lupron

I have had 2 shots of the Lupron for my IVF cycle this month one yesterday morning and now this morning.. Any side effects you have noticed or seen?? I had a major headache last night and night sweats just after one day of taking them.... is this common??

I know how you feel! I had horrible headaches with Lupron and they didn't go away till I stopped taking it.

Trying for a baby since 4/10
DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear. May/ 2013 Egg maturity and quality issues.. DH: low sperm motility,low count.
Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,
6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

I took lupron 10u at night and had a horrible headache every morning until about noon time.  Once I stared stims and dropped down to 5u, the headaches went away after a couple days.  GL, remember it will all be worth it!
Married: 7/2/11 TTC: 12/2011
Me:PCOS DH: low morph and low counts

4 medicated TI, 1 IUI+Femara, 1 IUI+GonalF = BFNs
IVF #1 Lupron/GonalF (Dec 2012)= 30R, 21M, 21F with ICSI, 18 HIP frosties!!!
Plan for FET in July 2013

Yup, I had a nagging headache all through Lupron into stims. It wasn't aweful, just there all. the. time. Hang in there :)
Me: 34, DH: 30 :: TCC since 2/11
SA: Perfect! CD3 b/w=Elevated Prolactin? HSG = Blocked Right Tube
April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
Scar Tissue Removed, Left Tube Partially Open
September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 10M, 8F, 2T, 6 Frosties)
Beta #1- 176 c/p @ 4w4d
FET #1 February 26th
Lost 4 Frosties to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5)
Beta # 1- 15 c/p
One More FET Left, Please Let This Be It!

I took my third shot of 10 units this morning. It's making me have major night sweats, I feel run down overall, and I had to pee like a bajillion times last night. I read that frequent urination can be a side effect, so I attribute it to that. 

I understand that drinking more water can help, and once you start your stims you should feel better. 
Me (31) DH (35) - Finding our path to baby #1

DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

I know how you feel. I had major night sweats with Lupron the first two times I was on it for a cycle. This time around none at all.  So....hopefully it gets better with time. Good luck!

I started 20 units a day on Sunday, and last night I woke up to cramps. I haven't experienced headaches yet, but I don't think I got that side effect last time either. Water retention is also happening.

no headaches for me, but sweating has been the story of my life, i have to take it in am and pm, so i sweat 2x a day, so gross!!!
Me 30, DH 30 Together since 2002 TTC since Oct 2010 RE March 2012 HSG left tube blocked with fluid July Lap done, removed left tube and right tube damaged Break until we can fund IVF Mock Transfer and Consent Signing appt 11/2 Started BC 12/11, Injection class 12/18 Lupron starts 12/27
