Morning Polar Bears! I took my last BCP Sunday night, and should expect my Lupron period in a couple days. I've been on Lupron since 12/31 and go in for my baseline on Friday. FX all goes well and I'll start stims that night! Still on track for a week of 1/21 ER.

GL to everyone else! And I'm SO excited that we have a few ladies between ER and ET and one in the 2WW! afsalinas - FX you start the group out with a bang!!

ETA: Forgot the QOTD - So I love to ski, but unfortunately in the Midwest that doesn't really happen. If I had my choice, I'd live in Colorado and go skiing every weekend! But since I'm stuck in dreary IL, I guess another favorite winter activity is staying inside, curled up with a good book by the fire with a cup of tea - yes I'm like 80 years old at heart! I wouldn't say I necessarily like winter, but I don't hate it - well maybe I do in like March when it's still snowing, but now in January, I'm ok with it!

Morning ladies. I took my last BCP Sunday night, still on 10 units of Lupron. Going in for my BFET on Friday am. Hoping everything is calm so I can start building up my lining for the transfer.

QOTD: I live in south Texas and have never really been around snowy weather which may be why I don't care for winter much. I don't like being cold!!!!!

Hi ladies, like I stated in my post below, we got 21 eggs! Not sure yet how many are mature. I feel pretty horrible now with a lot of cramping, so I'm lying down hopefully to take a nice long nap.

Trying for a baby since 4/10
DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear. May/ 2013 Egg maturity and quality issues.. DH: low sperm motility,low count.
Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,
6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

I was suppose to get period today, no signs of it other than the cramping I have had for like 3 days now. SInce I took a cycle off since the c/p was hoping it would be on time. I just want to get the party moving.

Fav activity of winter, I really don't have one since I don't ski or anything.

Hi all. We scheduled my FET for 01/30/13, I'll begin hormone replacement therapy tomorrow and continue with the lupron. So no new news.

I have developed a side effect from the lupron....swelling. My hands, feet, and face are all swollen and they suggested that I do a low/no sodium diet and to drink a TON of H2O. If this is the only side effect I get, I'll take it.

QOTD- I like winter because it means I'm allowed to be lazy some days and chill in the house. We're a very on-the-go couple and the winter kind of forces us to slow down just a little. I do think that if it's going to be this cold then it should snow and be pretty though. Although....it's supposed to be 60 tomorrow in Virginia. Big Smile

Hello, Polar Bears! Hope everyone is doing well moving along with their treatments. As for me, today is day 14 of Lupron. My stupid ovaries better be shut down by tomorrow when I go in for b/w and u/s! I have been blaming Lupron for not shutting me down, but my nurse and dr. are both claiming that I ovulated through the bcp, and Lupron is not to blame. Typical me to defy the norm! So does anyone know if this means I would get AF again? I'm so confused. I guess I'll find out more tomorrow.

QOTD: I hate winter, although it is very pretty to watch a good snowfall from indoors. I love staying in, cozy on the couch in my sweats, watching movies, in the winter.

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

Hi ladies,

I'm having my monitoring appointment tomorrow and if all goes well and at least one of the three frosties survives the thaw, I'll have my transfer sometime next week. I'm feeling like I'm getting the FET blues again. Last sunday when I told DH that I wanted to rip apart the preggers postcard we got from friends of ours, he told me I was overreacting so I just started bawling... I really hate this and I know it's only going to get worse. There's just no way to desensitize against IF. If only there was a shot or something like what you get for allergies!

QOTD: I saw snow for the first time when I was 21 and one of the things I really love is to take a walk when it's snowing a lot and all the sounds get muffled and you only hear the sound of your footsteps on fresh snow.

I think I am missing from the list now. I am now off BC pills & on estrogen now. Have a few ultrasounds & then I'll add progesterone before my FET scheduled later this month.

No, I hate winter. Growing up I did my fair share of skiing and ice skating, but I've always been a warm weather/Summer girl. If I had to pick my favorite activity, it would be sitting by the fire with a glass of wine & DH.

My TTC Journey:
Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea
Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). RE referral.
Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/28/13. Beta #1 (11dp5dt): 673; Beta #2: 1265. Just under 6 weeks - m/c at home. WTF appointment in late May.

QOTD: I live in Houston and there is a reason for it. I hate winter, cold, snow, ice, wet/cold. You get the picture. When it hits 50 degrees Im dying. I used to go snow skiing/boarding when I was a teenager and hated every minute of it.

Today was my ER and they got 19 eggs!!! I'm really happy with that since the case of the hiding follicles was messing with my head!! I'm really tired but so far ok....PIO starts tonight yippppeee!!!

QOTD: For living in Chicago 31 years, you'd think I'd learn to at least tolerate the winters but that is totally not the case. I haaaaate winter, my one friend even calls me "Grandma Kate" because how freaked out I am while walking in snow/ice, LOL

February 2013--Found a new RE but first back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
Absolutely no idea when we can cycle again...looking into DE as well if IVF#4 fails again

QOTD: I saw snow for the first time when I was 21 and one of the things I really love is to take a walk when it's snowing a lot and all the sounds get muffled and you only hear the sound of your footsteps on fresh snow.

I hope the appointment tomorrow and the thaw goes well for you. I'm sorry you're getting the blues, IF does that to us. Ha - I wish there was a shot for IF too - seriously, if someone invents that, they're a genius and mega rich!

I'll be taking my last BCP tomorrow and then have my first U.S. Thursday AM. I'll probably be starting injects Friday morning. At this point I could care less about starting shots...I just want it to be Friday so I can stop taking the nauseating Doxy.

I live in Oregon, I love the change in the seasons. At least when things get really cold, all of the holidays start to roll-in and they help distract from the dreary weather. It's fun to start wearing jeans and sweaters again. But from January-May it can be wet and grey which gets really old AND I hate being cold. I'm not coordinated enough to stay on my feet while skiing/snowboarding, I spend most of the time on the ground. I love being outside in the sun, playing in the dirt...planting flowers...riding our bikes in wine country. I feel much more productive and happy when it's warm out...right now I'm happy hiding under a blanket, watching movies with the cats on my lap when I'm not at work...but I feel lazy. I really want it to be spring.

1dp5dt today. I'm still waiting on a call from my RE about my two day 6 embies, I'm hoping that they make it to freeze.

I went to acupuncture today and am feeling a little tired and sore from yesterday. I'm back at work tomorrow.

So excited for the Polar Bears that have gotten good news at their ER/ET!

QOTD: I'm more of a warm weather person, but it is nice to snuggle inside with a glass of red wine or a warm cup of tea and read a book or watch a movie with DH and our furbabies.

5 Failed IUI's Moving onto IVF, Stims Start 10/27, ER 11/5=27 eggs!, 23 mature, 1 Fertilized WTF?? Rescue ICSI on 12 and we had 3 more fertilize. Transfered 2 on 11/9. Beta on 11/23.

Thank you!!! SO weird, my boobs don't hurt at all, just crampy, I am like come on already. I went for an adjustment, and massage this morning/ I told Chiropractor to hit the regulation spot for period etc extra lol.
