Kidney.

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

And yeah, I don't think anyone goes to KFC expecting to get organs of any sort from the chicken, just the muscle meat. I can understand getting disturbed, too.

Offal is parts that we normally don't eat (e.g. feet, internal organs, the like).

I wonder what animal's kidney they suspect it to be?  I assume chicken, but that seems pretty big for a chicken...

Offals are delicious of cooked correctly...something tells me that KFC doesn't know how to cook them right though. Lol.

I have never handled meat well. I usually make DH cook the raw stuff because after I see it raw I don't usually want to eat it all that much. This just made me slightly nauseous. I don't really like KFC anyway, so I guess I'm alright.

My vegan SIL made me watch a documentary about how animals meant for food are treated. I learned that chickens are sometimes force fed to make them grow faster and larger. It results in enlarged livers. Which works for the farmer because chicken liver is one of the most eaten offal peices.
ETA...forgot the point of my post...I assume if the liver is enlarged that other digestive organs would be, too.

Yeah, I love certain parts that we usually just call "The odd bits" particularly Chicken feet, chicken hearts, and beef tounge, but they have to be cooked right, and deep fried like that would not only probably not taste great, but that would be a nasty surprise. I don't like when my fried chicken has odd bits in it.

Now I really want Chicken feet!

Not saying animals aren't mistreated in commercial farms, but what you're referring to is foie gras - and that's the enlarged liver of a goose. They're not always (and often not) fed inhumanely. But that's another debate I refuse to have.
