Crazy fears?

With my DS I really didn't have any fears it was pretty smooth sailing but with my DD I freaked myself out my entire pregnancy. When I was about 12 weeks I watched a program on cleft lip and for the rest of my pregnancy I was so paranoid that my baby would be born with cleft lip, like I was obsessive about it. When she was born the first thing I looked at was her lips, seriously. Pregnancy hormones can really make you go crazy. Thankfully so far no crazy thoughts or fears with this baby. Anyone else have or have had any crazy off the wall fears?

I have pretty bad anxiety when I'm not pregnant.  Pregnancy for some reason evens me out a bit.  Anxiety blows.

Friends of ours had a baby this summer with a cleft lip. We just saw her over the holidays and she is a beautiful happy baby! She'll need another surgery when she's about 6 to close the roof of her mouth, but my confidence in modern medicine increased seeing her so happy and healthy.

Oh goodness yes they have come a long way!! My sister's boss has a step-daughter who has it and she is about to have another surgery but she is alot older and it is a pretty bad case of it. I'm hoping the next surgery does better for her.

I have a whole bunch of crazy fears when I read the forums. I know, the best answer to curb them is to not read the forums, stay off google, and only speak to your doctor. But who can resist?

Thank god I'm not the only one suffering from anxiety. Then again this is my first pregnancy so I don't know what's normal and what isn't. But my hormones are making me way more anxious than I normally would be. I feel very irrational.
