Prevacid dosage?

I have a call into the nurse, but the allergist recently switched DS from Zantac to Prevacid. he was taking .5ml of Zantac and when DH picked up the Prevacid from the pharmacy, they gave us 2 bottles and said the dose was 5ml per day. Do you think this is a mistake, or is that a normal dose?

I'm not sure how it translates since ds is on the solutabs, but when he was an infant he was on 7.5mg per day and at 6 months was switched to 15mg/day, which he's still on at 2 yrs old.

Our DS is on 1.5 ml of Prevacid twice/day. Prior to seeing our pediatric GI doc, our pediatrician had him on 1 ml/twice a day.
