Belly cast

Did any of you ladies do a belly cast? If so what kit did you use? And what did you do with it? I was thinking of doing some sort of frame with flowers and little messages to baby from family.

I planned to do one with DS, and I got the kit from BRU (I forget who makes it now) but ended up having to return it because I never got around to it. 

I plan to do one this time, probably using just the basic BRU kit or browsing Amazon for one with good reviews.

IMO - what are you really going to do with it? they are huge and would you want to stare at your belly and boobs for the rest of your life on the wall? 

i wouldn't bother...maybe paint your belly and take a picture??

I think they're bizarre - what do you do with them? Hang them on the wall? I would be weirded out seeing someone's belly cast on a wall in their house. I maybe a cute matted maternity picture with notes written on the mat would be much cuter and more practical.

They look fun, but I agree with everyone else. It would be hard to put it on display in your house. What about a cute maternity photo of your belly? That would look super cute on the wall in a frame.

Honestly, I find it a little creepy.  I am not big on clutter so I wouldnt know what to do with it.

Agreed. I saw them at BRU and I couldn't believe they actually made them. OP, to each their own, and I know you're not asking for our opinions about them, but... there you have it.

Haha! That just cracked me up! I also feel that they are weird. Sadly, my SIL is demanding to buy me one. I am hoping that I simply not get around to it. Otherwise we will do it and it will "accidently" break somehow.
