Re(Into) and a question?

Hello ladies! I have lurked and posted off an on and things are slowly moving forward so figure time to jump back in. So first off....I have Turners Syndrome and DH so far, has no issues. So we are pursuing DE early this year.

So my question is. Has anyone delt with having fluid in the uterine cavity? I had my HSG and 2 ultrasounds this past week and now the RE wants me to see my Gyno to get this looked at (my RE is out of state for me). I am trying to stay away from Dr. Goggle....

Hi there,

What did the HSG show for your tubes? I've heard of fluid in the ute when there is a hydrosalphinx which leaks into ute.

How much fluid? A lot or a little?

Are you doing DE at the same place as me or did you decide on another clinic?

Thanks for the welcome!

McIrish... We are sticking with the same clinic as you. Honestly it is a money thing. So we are going to give it a shot. How are you hanging in there for round 2?

My HSG showed everything was fine. It showed up on my ultrasound and they have not told me how much fluid, just that it is a concern and to get into my Obgyn here in town to make sure it is nothing.  So I am confused as to how worried I should be or is it just old linning. ya know?

Me- I'm hanging in there. Baseline for donor and myself is Friday. Totally get the money thing. That's why I'm staying there for one more try...

Did they say what they wanted the OB to do? Another u/s? Diagnostic hysteroscopy? I wouldn't be too worried at this point. Fluid usually reabsorbs by the body.

Good luck on Friday! I know it is hard but try to stay positiveLeft Hug

She e-mailed me back and it looks like a hysteroscopy. I will need to get the records released over to my Gyno, they have my other Ultrasounds just not the resent ones and/or HSG.

Hello and welcome back. I sadly have a issue with fluid showing up in my uterus from time to time. It showed up before ER but went away before my ET thank God. It happened again and caused my first fet to be cancelled. My RE said its not very common and theres not much research on it. If it happened again he was suggesting using neupagen(s/c). Its a experimental procedure where they put the nupagen fluid in your uterus, let it drain out and in 48 hours the fluid is supposed to be gone. I never made it to it since my RE was going out of town and didnt want a colleague to handle this and I didnt want to waste a frostie on a not perfect uterus. I had a hsyteroscopy almost 2 weeks ago to find out if there was a reason for the fluid but he found nothing. So we are thinking that my problem is not enough estrogen since my lining doesnt thicken like it should either. So Ill find out Thursday what the plan is on more estrogen. Im already on oral, vaginal and a patch so we will see. Im not sure if this could be your problem as well but this is my experience with fluid. Good luck.

Thanks Crystal! Actually that would make perfect sense! I have very low hormone levels and am basically pre-menopausal. I don't have a normal period, etc...So this very could be all it is. Good luck to you too!

My estrogen is also low too.  Intermittently, they have seen fluid in my uterus too.  I had it during a femara cycle.  I didn't even know it was there during the stims, but one of the ultrasound days (I was going daily), the tech said "things are looking good.  The fluid is gone."  Apparently, it went away as my estrogen shot through the roof.

Hey! Yes! When I have been lurking I have noticed some of your post and thought you name was familiar. Am I correct in assuming you are married to VG? Or am I mixing up my names?

Thanks!  I'll do the same for you!  You'll have to keep me updated :) We need little Vegas knottie IVF babies :)  Unfortunately, we are forgoing a trip to Vegas in early Feb. since he has to shoot me up with PIO and the transfer is around the same time.  Hopefully, it'll be worth it.  He's trying to find a casino that is nonsmoking also so that we can possibly get back to Vegas soon.
