I had ER... and I decided not to have ET done...

I'm going to throw up writing this... I'm literally living a nightmare

The day before my ER I found out about some terrible lies my husband has been hiding for a very long time. He's not the same person I thought I married...

My mother went with me to the ER..I threw my husband out of the house.... I told the doctor I'm not going thru with ET because I don't know if my marriage can survive this.. I bawled my eyes out on the OR table until they put me under... Nothing can comfort me at this point. I was so excited that our IVF journey was finally at the end... and now this...My entire world has been turned upside down in one day.. This will probably end in divorce.

 

I'm in utter shock... I don't know what to do.

Oh, dear I'm so sorry to hear this! I can't imagine how awful this is on top of all the IF stuff. Many T&P that things work out smoothly, whichever direction that may be. Massive ((hugs))!!

Retested AMH, dropped to undetectable at <.16.
Trying to decide what to do next...

Started TTC July 2011. Infertility workup July & August 2012.
DH - all clear. Me - Unicornuate Uterus discovered at HSG 8/16/12. Referred for IVF 8/28/12. Approved for IVF Warranty Program 10/2/12. Laparoscopy 11/1/12 - removed right rudamentary horn, both tubes, left ovarian cyst and endometriosis. Given all clear for pregnancy after 1/1/2013.
IVF cycle 1 starts 1/19/13!
12 eggs, 7 mature and all 7 fertilized - 2 Frosties!!
5 day SET 2/4/13 - Beta 2/13: 86 & 2/15: 186 BFP!!!!
EDD: October, 23, 2013

TTC #1 for about 3.5 years
ME: 37, PCO, immune issues?, teflon uterus (my added diagnosis)
HIM: 38, Perfect. (Showoff.)
Month before starting Clomid, spontaneous pregnancy. m/c at 7 weeks and D&C.
Four months of Clomid, one IUI, with Intralipid each cycle: BFNs all
IVF 1.0 July 2012 -- Lupron, bravelle, menopur, estrogen, progesterone supps, intralipid. 14 ER, 14 fertilized, 1 blast transferred, 2 on ice. BFN
FET 1.1 -- 10/2, transferred our 2 blasts. Lupron, PIO, estrogen, baby aspirin, prednisone. BFN.
IVF 2.0 December 2012 -- Bravelle, Menopur, Ganirelix, Prednisone, Metformin, estrogen, progesterone supps. 22 eggs retrieved on 12/14, 17 mature, 15 fertilized. OHSS anticipated so ET cancelled. 3 embryos frozen.
Broke up with old RE. Moving on to new dude. Maybe the change of scenery will be just the trick for our frosties. On BCPs for possible April FET.

DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.

8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

I am so sorry to hear this.  The only bright side (if there is one), that you can take time to do the transfer (if at all) to sort this out.  Sending you lots of t&p!
My TTC Journey:
Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea
Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). RE referral.
Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/28/13. Beta #1 (11dp5dt): 673; Beta #2: 1265. Just under 6 weeks - m/c at home. WTF appointment in late May.

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

I am so sorry that you have to deal with this.  And that you had to go through that ER for mfi. You don't mind doing it for a good guy.  But jeez.  You do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

IVF 12-21-2012 - 2 I think perfect no matter what the dr graded them (2B)embryos transferred Beta on 12-31-12 Positve - Beta is 21
Beta 2 1-2-13 - 31
Beta 3 1-4-13 - 53
Beta 4 1/9 - 212!
Ultrasound 1/10 - Nothing completely empty uterus Beta 1/14 - 743; Beta 1/17 - 1704 ultrasound shows nothing. Officially a miscarriage. 1/21 Beta 3900 Dr. says it ectopic. Ultrasound shows a miracle heartbeat right in the uterus where it belongs! Dr. says I can be cautiously optomistic!!! Hang in there baby!

Dx: non-IR PCOS 2001
April 2012: HSG all clear
June 2012: SA "looks good" (80 mil conc., 50% motility)
Sept 2012: SA @ IUI "may have a problem" (16 mil conc., 50% motility, 3 prog., 4 mil motile)
Sept 2012: Repeat SA "nobody is thrilled with these numbers" (47 mil count, 29% motility, 2% morphology)
Oct 2012: Uro has "nothing to offer"

Cycle 1-3 = BFN
Cycle 4-5: clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
Cycle 6: BCP break due to 4 cysts
Cycle 7: clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
Cycle 8: Femara = BFN
Cycle 9: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #1 = BFN
***New RE/add met***
RE recommending IVF with ICSI due to new MFI Dx.
Plan to do one more IUI while getting IVF/uro testing done (10/26).
Cycle 10: BCP for insurance approval of injects
Cycle 11: 75 Gonal-F + Ovidrel + IUI#2 = BFFN

IVF consult scheduled for 10/30
