Long period/cm question

Hello there! So to jump right into it, I am now on cycle day 57, and just started charting cm/ temp about a week and a half ago about cycle day 48. I may have missed ovulation since I started so late in the cycle, but what I am confused about is that I just had 3 days of "creamy" cm, than two nights ago had "egg white" cm for only one night then today feels very dry. My cycle is all screwy and its driving me crazy! Could I have ovulated during that one day of "egg white" cm??

Maybe, but the only way you can tell for sure if you saw a spike in your temperature. CM by itself isn't a reliable way of knowing if you did O. Can you link your chart?

You can have EWCM at any point in your cycle - it's common at O time as well as around the time you have your period.  Without a temp chart and/or OPKs, there's no way to even guess why you had EWCM and what it may have meant.

EWCM is unreliable. It comes and goes throughout my cycle, not just when I ovulate. You'll just have to sit this one out and be patient.

I use the fertility friend app on my phone, I'm not sure how to link it? But I haven't seen any significant spike in temp, it's been up and down mostly between 97.798. I have heard people say that after 60 days with no period or positive pregnancy test you should go to the doctor to see whats up, would you recommend that?

If you go 60 days without your period, you should definitely call the doctor so they can prescribe medication to jump start your cycle.

Since you started charting late, you may have missed your surge. There's not much else you can do at this point except just wait and see what happens. I'd definitely keep temping and OPKs are pretty useful too (in the short time I've been using them). You can order wondfos from Amazon for really cheap and it gives you extra insight into when your body is gearing up to O.

Are you recently off birth control? That can mess with your cycles and CM patterns for a while.

At 60 days, call your doctor. Some doctors will ask you to wait a little longer (especially if you're just off BC) but some will address it right away.
