Cyst due to Clomid. ON THE BENCH :-[

Anyone ever had this happen?  Huge cyst in the same ovary that bore my great big follicle!  Now on BCP to reduce/expel the cyst.  Anyone with experience on this topic?

 

Help greatly appreciated!!!

Dx PCOS @ 16y.o / DH Normal
9/2011: unplanned natural conception and MC @ 6weeks (sac never seen)
Cycle 1: 12/2012: TI + Meds = CP
Cycle 2: 1/31/13: IUI #1 + Meds = MC @ 7w4d
Cycle 3: 4/15/13: Unplanned IUI - one "natural" 20mm follie = BFN
Cycle 4: 5/21/13: IUI + Meds = BFN
Cycle 5: IUI with Injectables - Follistim 75IU started 6/7/13
PAIF/SAIF Welcome! You girls give me HOPE! <3
Medications: Metformin 2000mg, Provera (Cycles 1 - 4), Clomid 100mg (Cycles 1, 2 & 4), Trigger (Cycles 2-5), Follistim (Cycle 5), Crinone (Cycle 5) Herbal Supplements: 1800mg NAC, Fish Oil, Vitamin D, Baby Asprin, Folguard, Multivitamin

I never had it cause a cyst but the to times I had a cyst a few weeks of BCP took care of it. Good luck to you.

I don't have personal experience with this but I do see this very common in this board. Clomid is known to cause cysts from posts I have seen. Good luck and hopefully it doesn't happen again!

ER around mid july and FET for me sept. 3 rd 2013. Everyone Welcome

I'm sorry to hear this happened. I also developed a cyst the first time I took clomid but I have a history of developing cysts that won't go away. I did birth control but it didn't do anything for me so I just had surgery last month to get rid of it. A lot of people I have talked to that this happened to reported it went away on its own or with BCP. For me I'm waiting to go back to the doctors to see how we should pursue. Good luck!
