Switching formula

We are using Similac, the regular kind. In signed up on the website and they sent a container of the regular container and a smaller container of the sensitive kind. Could I use that sensitive kind up? Or should I give it away to be consistent?

If I can use the sensitive kind, should I mix it with the regular kind or do 100 percent sensitive formula batches?

I don't know the official answer to this question... you might want to ask your pediatrician.  But we had the same thing and ended up mixing it with the regular Similac.  I didn't want to waste it and so I ended up doing 1 full scoop of the regular and then 1/2 a scoop of the Sensitive.  I guess I tried to use more regular than sensitive.  My LO did fine on the combo and then when we were finished we just kept giving him the regular.  Now when we first had him he had some of the pre-mixed formula because the pediatrician kept giving us freebies too..  and when we ran out I switched to the powder.  We tried to give him the premixed again and he didn't seem too thrilled about it.  So I guess we do what we have to!  Sticking to the powder for now.  Before you know it they will be eating regular foods!

From my personal experience, and from the Pedi and ER Dr, it can really hurt their tummies switching formula on them. When we had to change formulas, it took 2-3 days for LO to adjust. I had to give away about 6 containers of powder and $30 worth of coupons for formula I couldn't use. I would call your pedi and ask.
