An induction and a c-section are two very different things. An induction, they would put pitocin in your IV to jump start labor/contractions, but there's a higher risk for a c-section, as pitocin can cause the baby to go into distress, especially if the baby really is not ready to be born.
Pregnancy is 40-42 weeks. Even though full term is at 37 weeks, your baby is still taking that time to grow inside of you and develop their lungs for the outside world. Yes, it sucks being huge and uncomfortable, but ultimately, giving your baby the most time in utero is always going to be the best choice UNLESS there is a legit medical reason for an induction or a scheduled c-section.
I think that inductions/scheduled c-sections just because you are over being pregnant is stupid and borderline irresponsible. I don't know if there are women here that support them, but based on my time on TB, I'm going to venture to say that you'll be hard pressed to find them based on your "condition" alone.
