Danandkamnorris:Thoughts/concerns/questions: Diapers are expensive. That being said, how or when did you start potty training your older children? How did you know they were ready. I'm just think about how expensive diapers are going to be for two children.
I had 2 in diapers for a while. It was expensive, but we bought in bulk and saved some money that way.
We started potty training DD #1 when she was a little over 2. She caught in really fast and the transition was set at a good pace for her. I know she was ready to be potty trained when she woke up in the morning with a dry diaper.
We potty trained both of our daughters the same way, at different times. We put them in big girl panties with no pants on for the first day. We put them on the potty, had them try to go to the bathroom. When they got off of the potty we set an alarm for 15 minutes and repeated that all day. Then the next day we had them in panties and put pants on them and continuted the 15 minutes intervals between potty sitting. They were both potty trained within a week.
